Monday-Wednesday: The Swine Industry project (each group will become "masters" of their section and come up with a creative way to teach it to the class, along with an activity to aid students as they learn about each section)

2nd Period: Floriculture
Monday: Plant ID Notebooks
Tuesday-Friday: Christmas Arrangements (planning, prepping and arranging)

4th Period: Floriculture
Monday: Plant ID Notebooks
Tuesday: Landscape Design (planning, plant list, hardscapes, materials)
Wednesday: Landscape Design (rough draft)
Thursday: Landscape Design (rough draft)
Friday: Landscape Design (rough draft)

5th Period: Ag Welding
Monday-Friday: Escape ladders, gate latches and oxy-acetylene welding

6th Period: Ag Woods
Monday-Friday: Woodworking projects (shelves, tool box, fastener holders)

7th Period: Greenhouse Management
Monday: Chapter 3 page 67 (11 vocab and questions 1-12 on page 81...Due Friday)
Tuesday-Friday: Chapter 3 assignment and build greenhouse kits (rotate between group 1 and 2 every other day)

Student Teacher

Hey Everyone!

I wanted to introduce myself, my name is Christina Fister. I am a senior at Montana State University studying Agricultural Education. I will be graduating in May with a Bachelors in Ag Education and a two year Associates of Science degree. My home town is Kalispell, MT and I love anything and everything agriculture. I grew up riding horses, farming and doing custom leather work with my grandpa.

In high school I was heavily involved in the agriculture classroom as well as in FFA. You could find me as a chapter officer, member of every community service committee there was and on the sales and agronomy teams. Agricultural education was my everything and it just seemed perfect to make a career out of it. This wouldn't have been possible without a lot of guidance from my ag teacher Mr. Bay. I hope to be able to help your students in finding their passions just as my ag teacher did for me.

Needless to say agriculture has always been a passion of mine and I am so excited to share that with you and your students. Hope to meet you all and have a great second semester.
