Livestock
Production Project
Imagine you are given a plot of land and money to
buy livestock to start your own production.
What species of livestock will you raise? What breed? Where in the U.S.
is your production located? What type of production are you interested in?
These are all important questions that must be answered while creating your
farm/ranch. For this project you will
choose your own species and breed to start an imaginary farm or ranch.
You will present your farm or ranch through a
PowerPoint. Before you put your PowerPoint together you need the following
information:
Species:
Breed(s):
Type of production:
Location and reason for location:
Where will you buy your stock?
When will you sell your animal?
